No Personal Data Collection

Cathode Labs tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, paste, or upload is ever sent to our servers or any third party. Your data stays on your machine — we never see it, store it, or process it.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to understand how our site is used. Umami collects only:

• Page views (which pages you visit)
• Referrer (which site linked you here)
• Browser and device type
• Country (derived from IP address, then immediately discarded)

Umami does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, does not build user profiles, and does not share data with any third party. It is fully GDPR compliant and does not require a cookie consent banner.

No Third-Party Tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or any other third-party tracking scripts. There are no ads on Cathode Labs. Period.

No Cookies

Our website does not set any cookies. The only data collected is through Umami analytics, which operates without cookies entirely.

Tool Processing

Every tool on Cathode Labs processes data client-side using JavaScript running in your browser. Whether you're formatting JSON, encoding Base64, generating passwords, or converting images — the processing happens locally. No data is transmitted to any server.

Third-Party Services

Our site is hosted on infrastructure that may log standard HTTP request data (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for tracking or analytics and are routinely purged.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
